What fertiliser is best for lifting the pH level of your soil as well as providing your maintenance phosphate requirement?

DP50 and DP65 are dicalcic phosphate fertilisers with a pH of approximately 6.5 - 7. DP50 and DP65 are ideally suited for maintaining and lifting of pH levels and were maintenance phosphate is required. It is a very cost effective product for hill country were phosphate and lime are usually both necessary. Both the DP50 and DP65 range have low leaching potential due to their lower than normal water solubility while the phosphate still remains highly plant available.

These bulk dicalcic blends have both fast and sustained release of calcium phosphate, making it suitable for crops and pasture over a wide range of soil conditions. These 2 products have a stronger liming action than our RePlenish range so it is more suited to situations where calcium and increasing the pH is a greater requirement.

It is very effective in soils with high phosphate retention, high aluminium or iron levels, or those with low calcium saturation.

DP50 and DP65 are both environmentally friendly fertilisers that are non acidic and normally only require a single application to supply increased phosphate, sulphur and calcium.
